Jan. 23 1921

Dear Aunt and Uncle,

I received your letter the other day. I am out on the road most of the time so am not home very often.

My House was quarrentined for diptheria at the time Mother died she was at my house. Yentil ? my wife had the diptheria at the time I was shut out away from Home but they told me she was concious up the last minute and her mind was clear she simply passed away she had been at my house for the last eight months the doctors said she had tubercolosis of the liver she complained of pains in the back for a long time.

I buried her here at San Bernardino father was buried in Los Angeles. she looked awfull nice and there were lots of flowers the cemetery is covered with a nice lawn and is Kept ever green I paid to have the grave perpetually care for.

A telegram was sent to A. G. Smith at 1915 Jackson Ave, Wichita, Kansas dated Dec 20 4:39 PM. It stated:

MOTHER PASSED AWAY SUNDAY MORNING FUNERAL TUESDAY
A. B. DAVIDSON
